Hi all, I've written a little widget called Tigergotchi, however our little pet Tiger does not only eat the things you give it, but also CPU cycles like crazy. I have no clue where to start looking where the problem comes from. The code seems fine, and upon start, the widget only consumes about 3% CPU. However, the moment you hit a button, or interact with the widget this goes up to 30% or higher, and it stays there. The latter is strange, what is it doing whyle consuming 30% of the CPU when there should nothing be going on? Anyone familiar with this phenomenon, or hints where to start looking? I use sounds played using quicktime, but disabling it had no effect, so that it can't be. I use a canvas to custom draw things, but disabling drawing has no effect, so that it can't be either. It seems to be triggered by hitting the buttons. Any help is highly appreciated... Alex PS. this is where the widget can be found http://www.mekentosj.com/widgets/tigergotchi
